This is one of my series of works featuring a Victorian style rocking horse made by my friend Ed. I love old games and toys, and these works have given me a chance to showcase some of my collection. The lovely little girl is "Aunt Doris", a photo from the early 1900s provided by a customer. I love her.
About Judy Wood
I am a career artist who has worked in various media over the years. For the past decade my work has been photo based, in the form of digitally altered photo art images and, more recently, one of a kind mixed media pieces with photo elements. I work with a variety of subject matter and themes, including equine, fantasy, surreal/alternate reality, Boxer dogs, Prairie heritage, crows and ravens, and whatever else captures my attention and imagination. I love the challenge of creating my images, and am always working to find new ways to express my vision. I am based in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada.
